Just the Essentials Ministries is about being transformed into the image of Jesus; it's about knowing Jesus Christ as your LORD and Savior, knowing His Word, hearing His voice, and living a life surrendered wholeheartedly to Him, preparing yourself for His return as the Bride of Christ.
In a world filled with noise, confusion, and compromise, our desire is to point believers back to the unchanging truth of God's Word—to encourage the Church to draw near to Christ, grow in discernment, walk in obedience, and be spiritually prepared for the time in which we are living.

Know His Word
If you want to know Jesus, then you must know His Word. He is the Word. His Word will never return void; it will accomplish that which it sets out to do. (Isaiah 55:11 KJV)
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."

His Word keeps us from sin.
"Thy Word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee."
—Psalm 119:11
His Word sustains us.
"For man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God."

Know Him
As we learn His Word, we naturally begin to know our Lord. We learn His character, His virtues, His Holiness, and the depth of His love for His children. We learn that He is Love, and that greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. (John 15:13 KJV)
The more we know Him, the closer we are to Him.
"Abide in Me, and I in you..."

The more we know Him, the more we become like Him by being conformed to His image.
"For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son..."

Hear His Voice
As we get to know our Lord and Savior, and we allow the Holy Spirit to transform us into His image, our relationship deepens with Him; we begin to recognize and hear His voice and follow Him ever so closely.
"My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me:"

As we hear His voice, we begin to seek Him more in that quiet place so that we can commune with Him.
"But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret..."
